Music Camps
Summer Camp
The camp has been a highly popular activity among music students from all over the U.S. in the last 8 years and has immensely benefited them. The camp consists of Morning Exercise, Vocal Riyaz and Voice Culture, and Exciting Film Songs/Bhajans/Ghazals & Thumris. The students are given a mix of fun and thorough music practice, improving their voices profoundly in just 2 weeks!

The minimum enrollment period (with any combination of the above) is 3 weeks.
Prerequisite: At least a few months of training in Hindustani or Carnatic classical music. There is no age limit.
Objectives :
— Provide vocal training toward the improvement of vocal skills and musical sense. It involves rigorous daily riyaz of Svar, Alankars, Gamak, Alaap, etc.
— Teach challenging melodious Hindi songs primarily semi-classical but a few other genres like Bhajans, Thumri’s, Ghazals, etc.
